How to join Eryri

Eryri Orienteers welcomes you to join our Club. We provide orienteering events across North Wales. Our club events are suitable for all age groups and we particularly welcome families. Training for beginners and improvers is arranged on a regular basis.

Eryri is affiliated to British Orienteering, who are the National Governing Body for the sport of orienteering in the United Kingdom. When joining Eryri, you automatically become a member of British Orienteering and the Welsh Orienteering Association (WOA) We offer two types of membership through British Orienteering - these are Local (LBM) and National (NBM). The differences and benefits are explained here.

To join Eryri you will need to apply to British Orienteering either online or by post.

Come along and try a couple of our events before deciding whether to join our club.

If you are new to the sport you may find the New to Orienteering section of the British Orienteering website useful.

If you need any help with your application or you have any other questions about orienteering please contact our Membership Secretary
